Bergin the Legend – still going strong at three score and ten
Kevin Waters on left and Jim Bergin, both from St. Martins Handball Club, who fought out the final of the Legends Singles championship last night. Bergin came out on top on the eve of his 70th birthday. The competition is run to acknowledge those who have been involved in the sport for many decades.
Barron outscores Dunne in hard fought GMBS decider
Ricky Barron, Barntown on left and Jimmy Dunne, Kilmyshall who fought out the final of the county Golden Masters Singles final last night. Barron prevailed 21-18, 21-13 after a titanic struggle.

Gavin Buggy named Volunteer of the Year at National Awards Ceremony
