Americans are no match for Tommy Hynes as he brings the USHA 45 and Over singles title back to the Emerald Isle

A series of magnificent performances from Tommy Hynes, Wexford saw him capture the 2018 USHA National Veteran Masters (45+) Singles title in brilliant fashion at the San Diego Tennis and Racquet Club last week. Seeded 2 in the small but select field the Wexfordman obliterated the opposition in devastating style as he conceding a meagre 37 scores in his three matches while amassing 126 points himself. He reserved his best for the final against top seed Chris Watkins from Victorville CA, winning by a facile 21-5, 21-2 margin.
