Wexford rejoices as Winter League gets off to a successful start

The opening matches of the 2021 county 4 wall singles Winter League got off to a successful start on Monday last with matches played at several venues around the county. And while some of the lopsided scoring suggested an understandable degree of rustiness following the long absence, improvement is bound to happen as the league progresses. With the top four qualifying for the knockout stages, it is likely that up to three losses could be sustained, without missing out.
