Three more titles for Wexford as young players shine
Leinster 60×30 champions below Paul Lambert maintained his iron grip on the Leinster Junior Singles championship when he defeated Stephen Quinn, Meath 21-8, 6-21, 21-6 at Garryhill. It was his third year in a row to win it and his fourth time in all. Daniel Kavanagh and Keith Armstrong with Shane Dunne and Padraig Cooney after the Wexford boys saw off the Noresiders 21-13, 21-8 in the minor doubles final at Garryhill. Galen Riordan and Bryan Kehoe defeated JJ English and Brian Mahon, Kilkenny 21-20, 21-11 in the under 21 doubles decider.
