Memories from 2009: Dean Corrigan beats Martin Mulkerrins to win All Ireland U16S softball title

At the time we didn’t realise how great a win it would prove to be against a player destined to become one of Ireland’s best. 11 years on however and with Martin Mulkerrins now very firmly on the top rung of Irish handball, we can only say; what a loss Dean Corrigan has been to Wexford handball.

He remains the only player from the county to win this premier softball title.
