Memories from 2000: Wexford’s remarkable hurling handballers win All Ireland titles

All five pictured below won premier All Ireland softball titles in 2000, while at the same time having very active hurling careers.

Jimmy Goggins and Terry Gainfort won minor doubles, Gavin Buggy and Barry Goff won intermediate doubles (Goff also won intermediate singles), while Colin Keeling won senior doubles with Tommy Hynes. Truly a remarkable achievement.
