So to the last of our 60 x 30 Adult County Finals with Kilmyshall to commence proceedings with serve and St Josephs to receive. Both teams swapped early scores making it 3-3 with Kilmyshall serving. Tommy Armstrong showed some good overarm shots which caused problems for the St Josephs pairing. Mick Murphy then began some good serving which brought Kilmyshall 7-3 up before loosing their serve. Carty / Lacey then made two aces before surrendering the toss. Kilmyshall then served at 7-5 up and they made an massive 11 aces before loosing their toss. This left Kilmyshall 18-5 up with St Joseph’s to serve. Carty / Leacey made 3 points from their serve before Kilmyshall retook serve and saw out the first game by 21. St Joseph to start the second game with serve making 2 scores before loosing their toss. However the Leacy / Carty got Kilmyshall straight back out and made it up to 9 marks. Carty showed some good kill shots to keep the score board ticking over. Once Kilmyshall got thwir serve back they showed some of the same form that won them the first game and brought the score to 9-9. The next number of scores were a ding dong affair with both teams making a scores here and there. Then St Joseph’s took serve at 14-14 and made it 17-14 before Kilmyshall retook serve witg a lovely kill shot from Armstrong. Kilmyshall then made it 18-17 before Carty flattened one to take serve. The Josephs made two aces and lost their toss at 19-18 up. Kilmyshall made it 19-19 each before Josephs retook serve and won the second 21-1. The third and decider both sets of players make a good start with some great rallys.  Together at 3 , together at 5 and together at 8. All square with Josephs to serve and they pushed on with some excellent tossing from leacy. The pair from Josephs proved too strong in the third and eventually won the third 21-8. A great nights entertainment on show.
