Magnificent weekend for Wexford players as 4 All Ireland titles come to 'The Home of Handball'

Its been a terrific weekend for Wexford handballers with Paul Lambert (JS), Galen Riordan (U21S), Jimmy Dunne (EMBS) and the boys under 12/13 team of Cian Browne, Mark Doyle, Josh Kavanagh, Ben Keeling, Conor Murphy, Dean O’Neill and substitutes Tommy Connors and Jimmy Goggins all winning All Ireland 60×30 titles.

Junior Singles – Paul Lambert defeated Kevin Craddock, Galway 20-21, 21-20, 21-4
Under 21 Singles – Galen Riordan defeated Michael Hedigan, Cork 12-21, 21-4, 21-17
Emerald Masters B Singles – Jimmy Dunne defeated Willie Corcoran, Galway 13-21, 21-18, 21-10
Boys under 12-13 team – Wexford (Cian Browne, Mark Doyle, Josh Kavanagh, Ben Keeling, Conor Murphy, Dean O’Neill and substitutes Tommy Connors and Jimmy Goggins) defeated Tipperary (Rory Grace, Kyle O Gorman, Adam Fogarty, Cormac Doheny, James Loughnane, James Power, Matthew Corbett, Kian Donnelly) 66-59
A few did get away this weekend including;
Padhraic Roberts – beaten 21-14, 12-21 21-1 by Kerryman, Jack O’Shea  in Junior B
Gavin Buggy – beaten 21-6, 21-14 by Dominick Lynch, Kerry in Over 35 Singles
John Roche – who lost out 21-16, 5-21, 21-16 to David Tobin, Tipperary in Masters B Singles
Stephen Murphy/Brendan Murphy – still without a title after a narrow 13-21, 21-15, 21-19 defeat to Tim O’Shea/Donal Hayes, Limerick in the Golden Masters B Doubles final
