Joshua Roche edges out Conor Horan in youthful battle for Division 8 honours

Two of Wexford’s best juvenile players clashed in the Division 8 final of the 2021 Winter league and after a fine exhibition of handball it was the slightly younger Joshua Roche, Castlebridge who overturned an earlier group result against Conor Horan, Coolgreany to record a brilliant 21-19, 16-21, 11-1 win. Roche has made considerable progress in the past 12 months or so and must now be regarded as one of our very best juvenile prospects.
