Joey Maher RIP

Today we bring you the sad news of the death of Joey Maher which occurred at his home yesterday. The great Louth man was one of the best handballers off all time and was well known in Wexford especially for his clashes with Dick Lyng in particular.

He was a winner of numerous All Ireland championships as well as Canadian and World titles and on behalf of handballers everywhere in Wexford the County Committee extends our sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
