In the end a stroke of the ball was all that separated Cian Kehoe and Josh McMahon from the All Ireland boys under 14 doubles title at Kingscourt last weekend. Playing against Tipperary the Wexford boys put on a terrific performance against Matthew Spain and Sean Hayes but in a welter of excitement in the ‘match of the day’ they lost out by the minimum margin 15-14, 15-14.

In such matches the smallest things make the difference and on this occasion these went with the Tipp players.
