Gavin Buggy wins All Ireland O35A 40 by 20 Singles Title

Gavin Buggy returned to the winners enclosure tonight, when he overcame a stiff challenge from Ollie Conway from Galway in the All Ireland 40 by 20 O35 A Singles Final, held in St. Josephs Handball Centre. Gavin settled well early on and took a comprehensive lead, only for Ollie to come back and take the lead 17-15. Gavin upped his game at that stage to win the first game 21-17. The second game followed a similar pattern with Ollie coming from behind again, but Gavin closed out the game for a 21-18 win to take the title.

A good start then for Wexford in the quest for more All Ireland titles this weekend, with four adult finals taking place on Sunday and two juvenile finals on Monday, all in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan.
