GAA Handball Wexford Team Championship

GAA Handball Wexford are delighted to launch our new style county junior B, C, D Team Championship involving seven teams and featuring up to 35 players.

The competition will see the introduction of the new handicap format agreed by the County Committee back on 7th September and is likely to lead to more evenly contested matches as teams seek to take advantage of whatever handicap allowance they qualify for.

With junior B players on scratch, junior C players given a 10 point advantage and junior D players awarded 15 points, team selection will be important. Furthermore, with some D players possibly as strong as some C players, strategies may kick in depending on the opposition.

It will get underway in the coming weeks and be played over the Christmas and New Year period.
