The finals of the Moyne Veterinary Hospital county 4-wall singles league begin on Wednesday

The first three finals of the competition are also down for decision at St Josephs on Wednesday night, with Jamie Barnes, St Mary’s facing the battle hardened Mick Armstrong, Kilmyshall in the Group D final, Jack Roche, Bridgetown taking on newcomer Barry Stone, St. Martins in the Group H decider and the youthful Morgan Nash-Colfer, Taghmon up against the vastly experienced Brendan Murphy, Castlebridge in the Group I final. All three matches were decided by tie breaks when they met earlier in the league stages, with Barnes, Roche and Nash-Colfer coming out on top and going on to head their respective groups, and all three look certain to be well contested again on Wednesday.
