Death of Pat O'Keeffe, Kilkenny handballer

It is with deep regret that we heard of the death of Pat O’Keeffe, formerly of Mullinavat Handball Club, which occurred this morning. Pat was very well known throughout Wexford and especially in Horeswood Handball Club where he trained with the locals on a regular basis for many years.

After spending a good while in the USA he returned to his native shores where he enjoyed considerable success on the handball courts of Ireland. His wins included World and All Ireland titles and his American style of play was very unique at that time.

Wexford Handball Board extend sincere sympathy to his wife and family.
