D Day for Hynes and Buggy

Written by Antoin Ó Braoin, Rúnaí Contae
All roads lead to Talbots Inch today for the M. Donnelly Senior Open Doubles clash of Wexford and Dublin which gets underway at 3pm.
It is a huge moment in the careers of the Wexford players as they attempt to build on the terrific performance of 2013 when they ran the eventual winners Tom Sheridan and Brian Carroll so close at Garryhill. With both Slaneysiders at the wrong side of 40 their chances of delivering another senior title to Wexford surely recede year by year.
Eoin Kennedy and Carl Browne represent the Dubs and they will present a huge obstacle to Wexford progress.
The programme opens at 2pm when Meath take on Limerick.
