Ballymitty remain the top club in Wexford in the Masters A grade following an emphatic defence of their doubles title by Shane Rossiter and Phil Coleman at New Ross last week.
A few weeks ago the Ballymitty men played against each other in the singles final (won by Rossiter) but on Wednesday they were back together again to face the challenge offered by Davidstown duo Pechelli English and Tomás O’Shea.
Unfortunately that challenge never materialised in any shape or form as the Enniscorthy district clubmen never got into the match at any stage and Rossiter and Coleman strolled to the easiest of victories on a scoreline of 21-1, 21-2.
