Busy week of matches ahead in county and Leinster championships
With both county and provincial championships moving towards a conclusion, all matches now take on a greater significance as far as qualifying for finals etc is concerned. The coming week is a particularly busy one in this regard with a plethora of Leinster semi finals as well as two finals down for decision. Those two finals will take place at St Josephs Community Centre on Sunday next at 3.30pm (not as advertised for 2pm) and will involve all Wexford players. The Diamond Masters (60+) B singles final will see Castlebridge clubmates Stephen Murphy and James Mythen go head to head, while the Emerald Masters (55+) decider is between Ricky Barron, Taghmon, the current Leinster Chairman and Davidstown man Kevin Doyle.
