Buggy/Berry & Hynes/Goff in All Ireland Senior Doubles Semi-Finals this Saturday

Following two tremendous Quarter Final victories last weekend, our two Senior Doubles pairs go into battle again this weekend in the MyClubShop.ie All-Ireland Softball Doubles Semi-Finals.

Gavin Buggy (St Josephs) and Mikey Berry (Barntown), who defeated Ciaran Neary & Keith Bourke (Kilkenny) last weekend, have a tough task ahead as they come up against the reigning champions Brian Carroll & Gary McConnell (Meath) .

Similarly, Tommy Hynes (St Marys) and Barry Goff (Castlebridge), who knocked out former champions Eoin Kennedy & Carl Browne (Dublin) in a tiebreak, have it all to do against Robbie McCarthy, beaten Senior Singles finalist & Colm Jordan (Westmeath).

Both Men’s Semi-Finals and the Ladies Final will play out in a triple header this Saturday at Croke Park HC. See below for fixtures.

Fixtures: Saturday 21st September – in Croke Park @ 12 noon

• Men’s SF 1: Meath (Brian Carroll/Gary McConnell) v Wexford (Gavin Buggy/Mikey Berry)
• Ladies Final: Cork (Catriona Casey/Aishling O’Keeffe) v Kilkenny (Ciara Mahon/Aoife Holden)
• Men’s SF 2: Westmeath (Robbie McCarthy/Colm Jordan) v Wexford (Tommy Hynes/Barry Goff)
