Blitz was a terrific success

Yesterday’s blitz for budding young handballers held at St. Josephs Community Centre was a resounding success with close on 40 boys and girls taking part. County Coaching Officer, Robert Doyle and County Vice Chairperson, Charlie Parnell were in charge of the session and an entertaining and enjoyable day was had by all.

It is expected that individual clubs will now continue the process by organizing weekly blitzes in their local areas. These will be open to all who wish to attend and might encourage further new players to emerge in ‘home’ surroundings.
