Big Handball Weekend in store with All Ireland 40×20 Adult and Juvenile Semi-Finals taking place
Wexford have six players through to the All Ireland 40×20 Adult Singles Semi-Finals, having all safely negotiated the Leinster Championships. First player into action is Gavin Buggy, who plays tomorrow (Wednesday) night in Cullohill at 8pm. The reason this game was brought forward is because Gavin has a Senior Singles Quarter Final on Saturday, against Martin Mulkerrins, also in Cullohill.
The remaining five Singles Semi Finals are on this Saturday afternoon. Josh Kavanagh (Minor) and Benny Doyle (Diamond Masters A) both travel to Clare, while John Roche (Silver Masters B), Tom Byrne (Diamond Masters B) and Barry McWilliams (Masters A) all have home advantage, with the action starting in St Josephs at 1pm.
On the Juvenile front, our two Singles representatives in the All Ireland semifinals are Jodie Keeling (U14) and Dean O’Neill (U17), who both travel to Tinryland this Sunday. David Doyle and Joe Devereux (U17 Doubles) will join them if they win their refixed Leinster Final v Kilkenny this Friday in St Josephs at 7.30pm.
