Ballymitty moves a step closer to becoming a two court facility

For decades Ballymitty has been one of Wexford’s best and most progressive handball clubs in terms of its committee system and community involvement and this is about to be further demonstrated in the coming months when the club will celebrate the opening of a new 40×20 court beside their already splended 60×30 facility. It will be a major development for this rural club which has thrived throughout the years, despite not having a so called ‘star player’ on its books.

The club continues to enjoy a sizable membership of both males and females and the provision of the new court will ensure that this top class facility will soon see use for the full 12 months of the year.

Below is a picture showing progress to date and with funds now drawn down, its completion has taken a giant step forward.
