Its been another terrific season for the recently reformed Kilmyshall Handball Club with several county championships coming the way of the north Wexford outfit and another was added at the local court recently when the impressive Keith Armstrong and John Murphy captured the Junior C Doubles title with A 21-5, 21-13 victory over Gavin Goggins and Fintan Furlong, St. Mary’s Wexford.
Armstrong in particular is having  a season to remember having already won several provincial and national events and with the singles title in this grade already in his grasp the Kilmyshall pairing were odds on to make it a double. The St. Mary’s partnership has been tried and tested over the years but on this occasion it was step too far as the favourites ran out easy winners.
Amongst those in attendance was former Club Chairperson Tom Finn, now living locally again having spent a number of years abroad. He will have been pleased that the club he left behind several years ago is once again at the forefront of Wexford handball.
