James Stanners, St. Martins continued his successful season at Ballymitty recently when he defeated Fintan Furlong, St. Mary’s 21-8, 21-11 in the Over 35 singles final. It was a surprisingly comfortable win for the Piercestown man who had edged a three game thriller when the same players had clashed earlier in the league stages.
