All Ireland Softball Singles Semi Finals on this Saturday 20th August
Another big day in the GAA Handball Calendar looms large this Saturday with the All Ireland Senior Singles Semi Finals on in Roscommon, and the Semi Finals for all other grades on the same day at venues across the four Provinces.
The GAA Hanfball Ladies and Mens Senior Softball Semi Finals are on in St Comans HC, Co. Roscommon starting at 1.30pm. Wexford interest is in the last match on the programme when Gavin Buggy (St. Marys) comes up against Gary McConnell from Meath.
In the other grades we have Jodie Keeling (St. Josephs) travelling to Tuamgraney in Co. Clare, to take on Leah Minogue in the Ladies Minor Semi Final. JR Finn (Ballymitty)is off to Cashel, Co Tipperary to play Paddy Delaney in Masters B. Tommy Hynes (St. Marys) replaces Gavin Buggy in O35A v Ger Coonan from Tipperary and that game is on at 1pm in St. Marys.
We have two players already through to their respective All Ireland Finals, Cliodhna O’Connell (Coolgreany – Ladies Junior B) and Joe Devereux (Castlebridge – O21)..
