Carroll stands in the way as Buggy seeks senior singles semi final place
Gavin Buggy carries Wexford hopes in this year’s Myclubshop.ie 60×30 Open Singles Championship and following his comfortable 21-15, 21-10 win over Vinny Moran, Mayo in the previous round he faces a huge task against Brian Carroll, Meath at Talbots Inch, Kilkenny tomorrow. Carroll enjoyed a facile 21-12, 21-3 victory over James Brady, Cavan in the previous round and although seeded at 5 (Buggy is at 4) he will start favourite to advance to the semi final.
