David Stanners and Paddy Curran take junior C doubles in style

David Stanners, St. Martins made up for his defeat in the singles final by partnering Paddy Curran to a well earned victory over Brian Busher and Eamon Codd, Bridgetown in the junior C doubles decider at Ballymitty recently.

The Piercestown men had been victorious in the lower junior D championship last year – with David winning both singles and doubles titles – and they made the step up in terrific style by defeating the strong Busher and Codd 15-21, 21-17, 21-14 in a thrilling final.
