The ‘Big Red’ comes out of hibernation in Wexford

While it appears really unseasonal to be thinking of the ‘big red’ with mounds of snow all around us, that is precisely what is occupying the minds of 60×30 connoisseurs in Wexford as the closing date for entry into the eagerly awaited county softball championship gets ever closer.

Next Friday 9th March is the deadline for entries and with play due to commence on 26th March it will not be long before the unique tone of the alleycracker is heard once again throughout the ‘home of handball’.

Those intending taking part should contact their club secretary straight away.
