Applying a status to every handball alley in Wexford

I am compiling a list of all the handball alleys in the county, including the year the court was built and the year it was roofed in the case of 60×30. If each club could provide that information about their own facility (and anything else of value) it would be great.

We would also appreciate assistance with this from anyone who can help, even if this person is not involved with a club. The info can be mailed to developmentofficer.wexford.handball@gaa.ie texted to 087/2060715, or provided to any club or county committee member.

I’m hoping to include the following;

a. Courts controlled by handball clubs and currently in use for that purpose

b. Courts controlled by a GAA club, with an active handball committee and the court is available to Wexford GAA Handball

c. Courts controlled by a GAA club, with no handball committee, but the court is available to Wexford GAA Handball

d. Courts controlled by GAA clubs, with no handball committee and the court is not available to Wexford GAA Handball

e. Courts controlled by non handball committees and not currently available to Wexford GAA Handball

f. Courts controlled by community centres, with an active handball committee and the court is available to Wexford GAA Handball

g. Courts controlled by community centres, with no handball committee, but the court is available to Wexford GAA Handball

h. Courts controlled by community centres, with no handball committee and the court is not available to Wexford GAA Handball

i. Open courts that have four walls

I will be adding other sections as well, including, but not confined to, glass or concrete back wall, viewing capacity (sq mts), mens and womens dressing room, mens and womens toilets, catering facilities, meeting room, meter per minute cost, etc….
 
We will do an analysis of the findings at our next county committee meeting and make decisions regarding same.

This information will allow us to apply a status to each court and possibly could be used to kickstart handball at non active venues.
