County 4 wall singles leagues get underway amid covid-19 threat
The Wexford 4 Wall Singles Leagues
The new 4 wall season is about to get underway in Wexford with the very popular county singles leagues again creating huge interest. Despite the ongoing threat of covid-19, a record 95 players have entered this year (up 7 on 2019) for competitions which will feature 10 divisions for men and two for women.
In order to reduce the number of matches, each division (apart form the premier) is being divided into two groups, with the top two in each group qualifying for the semi finals. The competitions get underway on Monday 5th October and fixtures will be released shortly.
All those who have entered will be required to comply with the full safe return to play protocol which will be notified to the clubs in the coming days by the county secretary Tony Reid.
