Galen Riordan slams in the 23 and under in Minnesota, with Brian Mahon his doubles partner

Galen Riordan, Ballyhogue and his Kilkenny partner Brian Mahon were amongst the most impressive winners at the World Championships in Minnesota when they took the 23 and under doubles title. In the final they defeated top seeds  Daniel Relihan and Michael Hedigan, a crack Cork duo who had won the All Ireland intermediate doubles championship earlier this year. The 21-14, 20-21, 11-4 victory completed a fantastic double for Riordan as he had already taken the singles title in the same grade.
