Brilliant fare at county 4-wall singles league finals

The experiment of playing all 11 finals of the county 4-wall singles league at the same venue on the same day proved a resounding success at St Joseph’s Community Centre yesterday, with brilliant handball and many exciting matches showcased in both courts over a period of 4 1/2 hours. Players and spectators alike expressed satisfaction with the occasion which gave equal billing to all divisions and all players.
