Jamie Barnes adds to his growing reputation with victory over Mick Armstrong in the Moyne Veterinary Hospital Winter League
Up and coming star Jamie Barnes, St. Mary’s confirmed his promise with a fine win over the experienced Mick Armstrong, Kilmyshall in the Group D final of the Moyne Veterinary Hospital Winter League. The wily Armstrong ran his youthful opponent ragged in the first game, but then as the large age gap became a factor, it was Barnes who took control to come home a 7-21, 21-15, 11-2 winner.
